BLUE ROCK

Blue Rock is situated on the beautiful slopes of the Helderberg Mountains, a stone's throw away from Sir Lowry's Pass and the Hottentots Holland mountain range. Blue Rock has a view that overlooks Strand, Gordon's Bay, the big False Bay and the back of Table Mountain.

Lake Blue Rock is the only lake in Cape Town with crystal clear water and a depth of 60m. In summer the water temperatures go up to 26°C.

The Cable (the over-head pulling system) is made for waterskiing and is ideal for wakeboarding and many other water sports. We have a lot of kiters that train their board skills here on a windless day. If you have your own equipment or have 'strange' equipment that you like to test, you are more that welcome. We already had people that skied on a door.

We have skilled instructors that can help you out if you want to learn to water ski, kneeboard or wakeboarding. Otherwise if you would like personal lessons we have personal instructors available (booking before hand is needed)

The Blue Rock Restaurant and Café Bar is a Pizza a la Italia with a wide range of Mediterranean dishes and freshly made desserts and Cakes. The Restaurant also caters for functions of all sizes.

Conference Facilities is also available, that seats up to 46 delegates and is fully equipped with top of the range speakers, amplifier and projector.

The Badi (our beach area) is great for relaxing, tanning and picnicking. There is also a Volleyball court and shaded spots.

Fufi Slide for an adrenaline rush form the top of the cliff, down to the lake where the boat will be waiting to pick you up.

Scuba Diving Academy on site with a fully equipped dive & rental shop.

Abseiling off 25m high cliffs with a view of the entire lake.
