We have the perfect accommodation options for backpackers, adventurers or those looking for a weekend getaway in our hidden slice of Gordon’s Bay, Helderberg. Wake up to the sounds of unspoiled nature, scenic views and a freshwater lake on your doorstep.
For social butterflies, we have shared dorm rooms available. Sharing a room with a few strangers is sure to lead to new friendships along the way. Besides backpackers’ shared dorm rooms, we also offer private double rooms for those who want to have an uninterrupted experience or getaway.
Blue Rock is perfect for family camping, with plenty of kids’ activities, watersports, and lots to do for adults as well. It’s the perfect escape from the everyday hustle and bustle. Trade in the city life for a hidden water paradise tucked away in Somerset West, Cape Town.
All our accommodation guests have access to our resort (some activities are at an extra cost), restaurant, bar and a communal room with TV. Check in from 16:00 on the day of your arrival and check out by 10:00 in the morning, unless you have made prior arrangements with Blue Rock Resort. All of our rooms are no-smoking zones.

Double Rooms
Our double rooms are spacious, accommodate two people and are cosy with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. We offer a queen size bed, cupboard, complimentary WIFI and a working desk.
Dormitory Rooms
We have 5 backpacker dormitory rooms. Each dorm has 3 / 5 double bunk beds that sleep a total of 6 / 10 people. We provide linen and blankets, and each bed has a private locker.
Tents and Caravan Camping
Blue Rock is very spacious and surrounded by trees and a beautiful freshwater lake. This makes it the ideal location for camping. Spend your time exploring nature and relax in our wonderful surroundings. Clear nights and beautiful mornings are what await you in our camping grounds.
Camping Facilities
You may wish to spend most of your time exploring and relaxing in nature, but supermarkets, convenience stores, wine farms and the beach are close by should you need them.
