Blue Rock has a 400m-long, adrenaline-filled ‘foefie (fufi) slide’ ride – something similar to a zip line. You will be sailing over the rocks, land and water close to the jetties! Our zip line is the perfect start to your adventure, guaranteed to get your heart racing and that excitement flowing.
Stand Up Paddleboarding
If you haven’t already tried stand-up paddleboarding (or SUP, for those in the know), then you’re missing out! It’s an amazing experience, especially just before sunset when the changing light makes it feel like you’re in an entirely different world. While stand-up paddleboarding might feel like a workout, it’s all in the name of fun!
Canoeing or paddling is an excellent way to get out on the water and to have some fun. It can be peaceful and meditative or can be exhilarating, depending on your mood.
Have some fun with your friends, and challenge them for a game of beach volleyball!
The Badi (beach area) is great for relaxing, swimming, tanning & socializing, while enjoying the picturesque beauty of Blue Rock.
If you’re an adventurer at heart, come and explore your adventurer’s spirit and test your courage by jumping into our deep freshwater lake. Blue Rock offers a series of rock jumps where visitors can experience untamed adrenaline and excitement as they leap into the water. It should be noted, however, that a strong swimming ability is compulsory.
Cool off in between activities at one of our various swimming areas – the perfect rest stop on hot summer days. Blue Rock is known for its lake with crystal clear, clean water that reaches temperatures of up to 27°C in summer. Non-swimmers have access to the shallow beach area with its surrounding floating walkways. The rest of the swimming areas are about 20m deep, so only experienced swimmers are allowed to swim. Life jackets are compulsory for less-experienced swimmers in these areas.
The children’s playground is currently under renovation. We have various other areas available that can be used for sports activities and games. People can also take a walk around the Blue Rock forest or make use of the jogging trail.
VIP shaded areas, umbrellas, tables with benches, floating mats and bean bags are available for hire. The VIP shaded areas are distributed on the grass around the lake, giving visitors a prime position for enjoying the lake’s view and the range of activities on offer. These areas feature stretch tents that are about 4m x 4m in size. They can be rented out for day camping and used exclusively by your group. Visitors are not allowed to bring their own umbrellas and gazebos from home into the resort.
Take part in this exhilarating activity at Blue Rock. Blue Rock features huge paintball areas in an outdoor setting. Our paintball fields are shaded by trees and overlook a beautiful lake.
Cable waterskiing is a unique way to enjoy the same adrenaline rush as traditional motor boat waterskiing without the use of a motorboat. We have various exciting options available such as wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and, of course, traditional waterskiing.
The Blue Rock lake is the ideal location for diving, offering a water depth of between 20-60m. This makes it perfect for sport diving, commercial diving or freediving.
